Zenrin of Kitakyushu has published a free, 80-page booklet of maps and information for Kokura Ward in that city and will distribute it to the ward’s roughly 9,000 residents. The first publication of its type in Kyushu, it contains information and maps about sites of importance to the citizens, including healthcare facilities, child-care facilities, and shopping centers. There are also articles about subjects of local interest. It is also being distributed through PCs, cell phones, and e-books.
