Hearts Field

If you like whisky, then you’ll want to stop by Hearts Field, a traditional whisky bar in the basement on Kokutai-doro Ave. in Tenjin. Yuji Kasai has been tending the bar since he opened the shop (which he named after the iconic JBL speaker Hartsfield) in 1990. He serves nearly 300 kinds of whisky, including various brands of Japanese whisky, which has become increasingly popular with whisky lovers the world over, as jazz plays over the stereo. Most regulars order the house whisky, a well-balanced original blend of white-oak-aged single malts.

Menu (tax excl.):
House whisky ¥1,000 (1 shot), single malt whisky ¥1,500, raisin butter ¥600, beef jerky ¥800, chocolate ¥400
*table charge ¥600
*Prices to change from Oct. 1, 2019 following tax increase

*Foreign language menu: None / Credit cards accepted (Visa, Mastercard, DC, American Express) / Reservations not possible / Smoking permitted
