Fukuoka City’s tax revenue exceeded ¥300 billion in the fiscal year of 2018, setting a record. The mayor of the city announced at a press conference on July 9 that the total amount of residence taxes exceeded that of the fiscal year of 2017 by ¥39.2 billion.
