Mitsubishi Estate Group, with over 130 years of urban development experience in Marunouchi, Tokyo, also developed and operated IMS 35 years ago. Their approach to urban development goes beyond physical structures, focusing on long-term enhancement of the city’s value through collaboration with stakeholders.
“Ace Hotel, which aligns with the local culture, will be a beloved facility that enhances the charm of Fukuoka,” said Atsushi Nakajima, Executive Director of Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.
Brad Wilson, CEO of Ace Hotel Group, attended the event and commented, “Ace Hotels provide services not only for hotel guests but also for the city’s citizens. They become ‘space makers’ or ‘place makers’ and act as hubs within cities. Partnering early and often with local creators, artists, and retailers is something we are proud to do and has contributed to our success. By doing so, when travelers come to a city, they should feel a connection with the local people and the town.”
