Kintsugi Exhibition at ACROS Fukuoka

Kintsugi is an art form that involves repairing cracked pottery with lacquer dusted and powdered gold. Its origins can be traced back to the Muromachi era, a period in Japanese history when the tea ceremony gained popularity. 120 pieces created by around 100 members of the Kinjin Craft Association will be featured.
